Brooklyn, NY (October 16, 2020) – Early on Thursday morning, October 15th, a collision between an SUV and a dirt bike was reported in Brooklyn. It happened around 2:30 a.m. on Prospect Place in the Brownsville neighborhood.
According to authorities, the driver of a Kia Soul struck a 29-year-old man on a dirt bike in the area of Thomas S. Boyland Street. Officials arrived at the scene where they immediately transported the cyclist to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center. He was reported to have suffered life-threatening injuries.
The occupants of the SUV are believed to have fled the scene on foot but few details have been reported. The events that led to this incident remain under investigation.
