Brooklyn, NY (July 22, 2020) – A pedestrian accident reported in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn sent one person to an area hospital with injuries. At approximately 10:15 a.m., on July 21, the New York Police and Fire Departments responded to the site of a collision on the Bay Parkway.

Reports provided by the police show that a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle while traveling down Bay Parkway near the intersection with 85th Street. The victim was injured in the incident. Medical personnel responded to the site of the incident and immediately began rendering aid. The victim was subsequently transported to an area hospital for further treatment and evaluation. At this time, NYPD is investigating the cause of the crash.
