Buffalo, NY (November 1, 2019) – A stairwell collapsed inside of a ten-story building, resulting in injuries to a roofing contractor in the city of Buffalo. The incident was reported to have happened on Thursday morning, October 31st.
According to authorities, a stairwell on the tenth floor of a building located adjacent to the offices of Erie County Social Services workers at the intersection of Main Street and Swan Street. A roofing contractor who was inside the building at the time of the incident suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Emergency responders transported the victim to Erie County Medical Center to be treated. The current condition of the victim was not reported.
