Chinatown, NY (February 22, 2020) – A pedestrian was seriously injured on Friday, February 21st after she was hit by an unlicensed truck driver in Chinatown.

The 35-year-old woman was walking across Canal Street at Cortlandt Alley at around 2:30 p.m. when a commercial truck ran into her.

Paramedics transported the woman to Bellevue Hospital. Her condition is listed as critical but stable.
