Fatal Pedestrian Accidents in New York
According to statistical data that has been published by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, a total of 5.4% of all traffic collisions that occurred in 2013 involved pedestrians. Out of an overwhelming 16,903 New York pedestrian accidents that took place that year, at least 344 people were tragically killed as a result.
