Hell’s Kitchen, NY (May 25, 2020) – According to authorities with the Fire Department of New York, at least three people were injured following an apartment fire on Sunday morning, May 24th. It took place inside a building located at 709 9th Avenue in Hell’s Kitchen.
Over 60 firefighters responded to the blaze that broke out on the top floor of the building at around 10:00 a.m. Emergency medical crews arrived at the scene where they attended to the victims.
A total of three people were injured in the incident. One victim was reported in serious condition while all other injuries have been considered non-life threatening. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
