Hudson, NY (June 13, 2020) – Around 11:30 a.m. yesterday morning, June 12, a fatal motorcycle accident took place on a roadway in Hudson.
According to State Police, the accident occurred on Route 9H just north of County Route 27 when a motorcycle and a dump truck collided with one another.
The driver has not yet been identified but paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene of the accident. The driver of the dump truck did not sustain injuries.
The roadway was closed down in the area for several hours following the collision. Numerous responders, including Claverack firefighters and Greenport Rescue Squad, were present at the scene of the accident.
An investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues.
