Manhattan, NY (October 26, 2020) – A fire incident in East Harlem left seven people injured on Saturday. Just before 5:30 p.m., on October 24, the New York Fire Department and New York Police Department responded to the scene of a major fire incident on 5th Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a major fire broke out on the second floor of a six-story apartment complex in the East Harlem area.
Crews worked aggressively to battle the blaze and to rescue people. By 6:15 p.m., authorities confirmed that the fire was under control.
A total of seven people were injured in this incident. This includes two local police officers and five civilians.
