Moreau, NY (August 18, 2019) – On Friday night, August 16th, police and emergency medical responders were called to the scene of a truck accident involving a motorized bicycle on Reservoir Road.
The crash took place when a 44-year-old resident of Moreau was riding along and collided with a tractor-trailer. The crash took place at 7:30 p.m., according to Saratoga County sheriff’s deputies.
The driver of the truck was quickly identified as 40-year-old Arsalan Ebraheem, who was unaware that the bike struck the side of the trailer and continued driving. Police were able to locate him but he was not charged.
The driver of the motorbike was identified as Kirby Lopez, who was taken to the Glen Falls Hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
