Olean, NY (July 23, 2020) – Authorities have now released the details of a serious three-vehicle crash that left a total of four people injured on Monday, July 20th. It happened at approximately 10:02 a.m. at the intersection of West State Street and 7th Street in Olean.
According to officers, a man now identified as 86-year-old Vincent A. Silluzio, of South 13th Street, was operating an unspecified vehicle when he entered the intersection and collided with another vehicle, operated by 55-year-old Diane M. Kasperski, of Prospect Avenue. The force of the collision pushed the second vehicle into a third vehicle, being driven by 21-year-old Jordan G. Sissonmoore, of Gargoyle Road.
Police officers were dispatched to the scene along with firefighters and emergency medical technicians. Crews worked at the scene and Silluzio, Kasperski, Sissonmoore, and one other unidentified passenger were transported to local hospitals.
At this time, authorities have not released any information regarding the seriousness of the injuries suffered in this crash. All three vehicles suffered extensive damage and crews worked to clear the scene.
The events that led to this accident are presently under investigation by authorities with the Olean Police Department.
