Queens, NY (October 11, 2020) – Around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, five people were injured in a pedestrian accident in Queens.

According to authorities, the accident took place at 244-35 Merrick Boulevard when a vehicle suddenly crashed into J&S Pizza for reasons that are not yet fully known. The vehicle hit several people inside the building, though it is not known how many.

Five people, who have not yet been identified, were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

Police confirmed that the building was not badly damaged as a result.
