Rochester, NY – Man Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Bay St

Queens, NY – Pedestrian Hit & Killed on Rockaway Blvd in Rosedale

Queens, NY (June 24, 2020) – An unidentified male pedestrian was struck and killed by a motor vehicle while crossing Rockaway Boulevard in the Rosedale section of Queens. According to officials, it happened early Wednesday morning, June 24th, at around 3:55 a.m.

Authorities said that the pedestrian was crossing the roadway near Brookville Boulevard when he was hit by a 2015 white Dodge Dart. Crews arrived at the scene and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

The operator of the Dodge remained at the scene and Rockaway Boulevard was shut down in both directions. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
