Queens, NY (April 9, 2020) – A pedestrian accident involving a train leaves one victim seriously injured.
On April 8, at around 1:20 p.m., a pedestrian was at the 90th Street- Elmhurst Avenue Station, which is located on 90th Street near the intersection with Roosevelt Avenue, when they were struck by the Number 7 train.
The victim became pinned under the vehicle. Emergency crews responded and cut the electricity to the station. They were able to remove the victim from the tracks and transport them to a local hospital with undisclosed injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
