Queens, NY – Two Hurt After Crash into Subway Column at 65th Pl & Roosevelt Ave

Queens, NY (May 14, 2020) – A car crashed into a subway column in Queens, sending two people to the hospital. The incident took place near the intersection of 65th Place and Roosevelt Avenue at around 7:30 a.m. on Thursday morning, May 14th.

According to officials with the FDNY, an unspecified vehicle struck the side a column in the Woodside section of the borough. Emergency crews arrived at the scene where the No. 7 subway train runs on elevated tracks above the intersection.

A total of two people were transported to Elmhurst Hospital but their present conditions have not been reported. The cause of this incident remains under investigation.
