Schenectady, NY (June 23, 2020) – Late Monday morning, June 22nd, in Schenectady two people were injured in a house fire that broke out in the Mont Pleasant neighborhood. The incident was reported at 1321 Third Ave., shortly after 11:00 a.m.
According to authorities, firefighters were dispatched to the scene between Congress and Spring Streets where they located two women outside the home. Both women were suffering from serious burns and were transported to Albany Medical Center.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze and no information has been reported on the current conditions of the victims. The cause of this incident is under investigation.
