Seneca, NY (February 17, 2020) – An Ontario County house fire left at least one firefighter injured after an incident that took place on Sunday afternoon, February 16th. The fire was reported at around 4:00 p.m. at a home located on County Road 4 in the town of Seneca.
According to officials, two people were inside the home when flames broke out, resulting in emergency responders at the scene. Firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze as crews assisted the two residents.
Authorities stated that at least one firefighter was hospitalized following the incident but is expected to recover. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
