Seneca, NY – Accident on CR-4 Takes Life of William White 

Seneca, NY (October 17, 2020) – The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a fatal car accident in the town of Seneca on Saturday, October 17th. 

Deputies stated that the two-vehicle collision took place at the intersection of County Road 20 and County Road 4 at about 11:45 a.m. 

William White, 63, a resident of Clifton Springs was traveling southbound along County Road 20 when he neglected to come to a stop at the stop sign at the County Road 4 intersection. White was then hit on the driver’s side of the vehicle by a westbound 2020 Ford. 

Emergency medical technicians transported White to Clifton Springs Hospital. He was pronounced dead a short while later. The two occupants of the Ford were transported to Thompson Hospital with injuries classified as non-life-threatening. 

This accident is still under investigation by sheriff’s deputies, who have said they believe everyone involved was wearing their seat belts when it occurred. 

The intersection was shut down for approximately three hours.
