Newark, NJ (September 19, 2023) – On Sunday, September 17, 2023, vehicles struck three pedestrians, including a 5-year-old girl.
Around 8:30 p.m., a woman suffered a hit-and-run near 3rd Avenue and McCarter Highway. She’s stable in a local hospital.
At 4 p.m., a car hit a child and a woman at Grafton Avenue and Broadway. Both remain stable in the hospital.
The driver stayed at the scene and faced no charges.
The investigation is still ongoing.
