Newport News, VA (January 11, 2025) – Emergency responders rushed to the scene of a motor vehicle accident with entrapment at the intersection of Denbigh Blvd and Old Denbigh Blvd on Saturday. The incident involved at least one person trapped in a vehicle following the collision.
Engine 9 crews arrived on the scene and began extrication efforts to free the trapped individual. Command later confirmed that the extrication was successfully completed. The patient was transported to a local hospital by Medic 6 for further medical treatment. The condition of the patient and other details about the crash have not yet been disclosed.
