Niagara Falls, NY (September 19, 2023) – At approximately 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, September 17, 2023, Niagara Falls Police responded to a hit-and-run at 22nd Street and Pierce Avenue.
A dispute involving six people occurred on the sidewalk.
A 31-year-old woman from the group drove a white 2011 Chevy Tahoe onto the sidewalk, hitting the pedestrians.
A 16-year-old boy and a 52-year-old woman sustained severe leg injuries and are stable at Erie County Medical Center.
Two others reported minor injuries but declined medical care.
Authorities identified the driver, but she remains at large.
Police urge witnesses to provide information.
Charges against the driver are pending.
The investigation is still ongoing.
