Niskayuna, NY (July 25, 2023) – A serious three-car crash occurred on Troy-Schenectady Road near Hickory Road in Niskayuna, resulting in two individuals sustaining severe injuries.
The Niskayuna Police Department reported that the accident occurred around 3:20 p.m. on Monday, July 24, 2023.
Promptly responding to the scene, Niskayuna Fire, Colonie Ambulance, and Mohawk Ambulance provided immediate medical assistance to the vehicles’ occupants.
Subsequently, two drivers with serious injuries were transported to Albany Medical Center for further medical care.
To aid in the investigation, the Schenectady County Sheriffs collaborated with the Niskayuna Police, assisting in the crash reconstruction process.
Authorities investigate the collision to determine the cause and ensure safety measures are followed to prevent future accidents.
