Norco, CA (July 18, 2023) – A 55-year-old Perris man, David Vieira, was killed in a two-car collision on Interstate 15 in Norco.
The incident occurred on Sunday, July 17, 2023, around 11:35 a.m.
The California Highway Patrol identified the location as northbound I-15, just north of Sixth Street.
According to authorities, Vieira was in one of two sedans that collided near the Sixth Street on-ramp to the freeway.
It was reported that his vehicle traveled at high speed before the accident, although further details remain unknown.
Vieira’s car eventually stopped in a cluster of trees beside the freeway shoulder.
Within 10 minutes, paramedics from the Riverside County Fire Department arrived but sadly pronounced him dead.
Fortunately, the other motorist involved in the collision did not sustain any injuries, as confirmed by the fire department.
Currently, the investigation is still ongoing.
