North Bethesda, MD (February 13, 2023) – Paramedics and the police were called to provide assistance at the scene of a motor vehicle accident that took place in North Bethesda on Sunday and ended in injuries.
At around 6:05 p.m. on February 12, a total of four vehicles collided on the southbound side of Interstate 270. The incident prompted officials to close off the roadway in the area of old Georgetown Road. The incident caused moderate delays in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
EMS rendered aid to injured victims on-site. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
