North County, MO (July 15, 2023) – Tragedy struck North County on July 13, 2023, when a man died in a collision between a scooter and a Chevrolet Malibu.

The accident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on Halls Ferry as both vehicles were heading southbound.

According to the police report, the Chevrolet Malibu struck the scooter, resulting in the scooter’s driver suffering fatal injuries.

However, the driver and passenger inside the Malibu were fortunate to escape the accident unscathed.

The authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision to determine the cause of the tragic incident.
