Fargo, ND (September 5, 2020) – An auto accident took place on a roadway in Fargo yesterday afternoon that caused injuries. 

The crash involved a passenger vehicle that was struck by a dump truck on 45th Street near the IHOP at approximately 4:00 p.m. on the afternoon of September 4. The contributing factors of the collision are currently under investigation by local law enforcement officials at this time. 

According to the police report, a passenger vehicle was exiting the IHOP parking lot when for unknown reasons, it was struck by a passing dump truck. Two people present in the sedan at the time of the accident were injured and transported to a nearby medical center for the treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. 

No other injuries were reported to have resulted from the accident. No one involved in the wreck has currently been identified. 

No further details are available concerning the circumstances and consequences of the wreck. FPD is currently investigating.
