Fargo, ND – Motorcycle Crash with Semi Injures Motorcyclist on I-94

Fargo, ND (August 9, 2020) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after being involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer on an interstate in Fargo.

The collision took place between a motorcycle and a tractor-trailer on Friday, August 7. The Fargo Police Department stated that a man on a motorcycle was headed onto the on-ramp for the eastbound lanes of I-94. While merging, a semi-truck also headed east struck the motorcyclist. The force of the crash caused the motorcyclist to lose control of his motorcycle and be ejected from the bike. 

The motorcyclist, who remains unidentified at this time, received emergency medical treatment at the scene of the collision. He was then transported to Essentia Hospital for treatment. His current medical condition has not been disclosed at the present time. 

No other injuries were reported to have resulted from the wreck. 

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
