Grand Forks, ND (July 30, 2020) – A hit-and-run accident that left at least one person with unspecified injuries took place on Monday, July 27th.

According to an incident report from the Grand Forks Police Department, the incident occurred at about 1:10 p.m. when two cars of unknown make and model collided with one another in the 100 block of Columbia Court. Details about the conditions of the injured victims have not yet been made available to the public.

Officers from the Grand Forks Police Department as well as local emergency response crews were both called to the scene of the crash. An ambulance transported at least one of the injured parties to a nearby trauma center.

The report also indicates that the absconded vehicle was located later that day, at approximately 5:05 p.m. on 32nd South Avenue. There was no mention of whether or not the driver was issued any citations.

The cause of this accident is still under investigation by local law enforcement. No additional details are currently available.
