Injury Accidents in Minot

Minot, ND - Accident With Injuries on Burdick Expy

More Americans have died in motor vehicle accidents since January 2000 than were killed in both world wars. This fact, which is staggering on its own, becomes even sadder when coupled with the fact that 94% of all vehicle collisions can be attributed to simple human error.

The fault lies in the driver who was speeding, who was trying to read a text, who was drunk, who has no idea how a four-way stop works.

In other words, car accidents in North Dakota and throughout the United States would be nearly non-existent if people would simply obey the rules of the road.

A poll taken by the AAA Foundation for traffic safety highlighted the disturbing fact that more than half of all adult drivers believed that they were less at risk of a serious accident than other drivers on the road because of a particular skill they felt they possessed, such as “unusually fast reflexes” or being “really great at multi-tasking.”

All drivers have a responsibility to stay in control of their vehicle and to share the road. Just remember, no matter how carefully and defensively you drive, dangerous drivers with no regard for the safety of others are all around you.
