North Merrick, NY (March 11, 2023) – On the night of March 11, emergency responders in Hempstead, North Merrick, were sent to the scene of an auto accident with injuries.
Reports show the collision happened in the southbound lanes of the Meadowbrook Parkway near the Southern State Parkway. Traffic was stopped back to Hempstead while emergency responders worked in the area.
At least one individual who was hurt in the crash required emergency medical attention and transportation to the hospital. Crews worked at the scene for an extended period of time on the evening of March 11.
Paramedics rendered aid to injured victims while police worked to figure out how the crash happened. Currently, the details surrounding the collision have not been reported.
Authorities in North Merrick continue to investigate.
