Ocean City, MD – OCPD Responds to Scooter Crash on 20th St

Ocean City, MD (July 16, 2023) – A man was left injured as a result of an automobile accident that took place in the Ocean City area on Friday morning, July 14.

At around 10:30 a.m., the police confirmed that a man was injured after being involved in a collision while riding a scooter. The accident occurred on 20th Street, prompting officials to close down the roadway extensively as they worked to clear the area.

Emergency medical services responded to the site of the crash to care for the injured man and transport him to a local hospital.

At this time, the Ocean City Police Department is investigating to determine what caused this accident.
