Olney, MD (January 6, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in the only area on Thursday evening that prompted the response of police and firefighters. At around 6 p.m., on January 5, the Montgomery County Fire & Rescue Services assisted area police at the scene of an accident on Marksman Circle.
Preliminary reports show that two vehicles collided on Marksman Circle in the area of Spartan Road. The incident took place at the intersection, blocking multiple lanes of travel.
MCF RS and a Montgomery County Police Department blocked off the roadway as they provided assistance at the scene.
One person was injured in the accident and transported by EMS to a local hospital for medical care.
The police department is investigating the accident.
