Omaha, NE (November 20, 2023) – Saturday night, November 18, saw a two-vehicle collision in north Omaha, injuring six people. Omaha Police responded to the incident near 30th and Hamilton after 9 p.m. A 2009 Nissan Murano, exiting a church parking lot, collided with a northbound 2014 Chevy Equinox.
Six individuals were taken to Nebraska Medicine for treatment. The Nissan’s driver sustained head and leg injuries, not life-threatening. An adult male, a juvenile female, and a four-month-old girl in the Nissan suffered minor injuries. The infant was safely secured in a car seat.
The Chevy’s driver received treatment for a head laceration and back pain, while an adult female passenger had shoulder and neck pain. OPD is considering charges against the Nissan’s driver as the investigation continues.
