Orange County, FL – Motorcycle-Van Crash Leaves 86-Year-Old Man in Critical Condition

Orange County, FL (July 25, 2023)- A motorcycle and a van collided on State Road 50 close to Taylor Creek Road, severely injuring an 86-year-old man.

The Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the accident scene at 2:32 p.m., July 24, 2023.

According to the initial report, a Chevrolet Astro van was traveling west in the outside lane, followed by a Honda motorcycle.

Because the motorcyclist didn’t slow down or stop in time, they collided, sending the van off the road and into the bushes.

The Cocoa woman driving the van was unharmed, but the motorcyclist suffered severe injuries and was taken to the hospital as a trauma alert.

Investigations are currently ongoing.
