Orange County, FL – Pedestrian Fatality on Forest City Rd at Calloway Dr

Orange County, FL (November 21, 2023) – A tragic pedestrian accident resulted in the death of a 73-year-old woman on Monday, November 20, in Orange County. The Florida Highway Patrol reported the incident occurred on Forest City Road at Calloway Drive before 6 p.m.

The woman stepped onto the road directly into the path of an oncoming pickup truck. Authorities noted she was not using a crosswalk at the time. The driver attempted to swerve but was unable to avoid striking the pedestrian. The driver remained at the scene following the accident. The investigation is ongoing.
