Orangeburg, SC (September 13, 2023) – A pedestrian was fatally struck on I-95 South approximately ten miles north of Bowman on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
The accident took place shortly after 2:30 p.m.
The victim, beside a disabled vehicle on the road’s shoulder, was hit by a 2017 Nissan SUV that veered off the lane.
South Carolina Highway Patrol officials are handling the investigation.
The investigation is still ongoing.
