Orlando, FL (July 14, 2023) – A 26-year-old woman was killed in a crash in Orange County, Orlando, late at night.
The Florida Highway Patrol says that at around 11 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2023, she rear-ended a semi-truck on Boggy Creek Road, not far from J. Lawson Boulevard.
The semi-truck driver and the other motorist were traveling south on Boggy Creek when they stopped at the same red light.
The woman, unfortunately, ran into the back of the semi after failing to brake in time.
Even after being rushed to UCF Lake Nona Hospital, she died from her wounds.
The semi-truck driver, aged 51, was treated for minor injuries at Dr Phillips Hospital in Kissimmee.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined.
