Pacoima, CA – Fatal Auto Rollover Collision on 118 Freeway Claims One Life

Pacoima, CA (July 24, 2023) – A tragic two-vehicle freeway traffic collision occurred in Pacoima on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at approximately 3 a.m.

The California Highway Patrol and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a reported auto rollover in the eastbound lanes of the 118 Freeway, just east of the Laurel Canyon off-ramp.

A pickup truck and a sports car were involved in the accident.

Rescuers discovered an unresponsive male trapped inside the sports car, and despite their best efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The identity of the victim is unknown.

The incident is still being investigated.
