Pacoima, CA – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Collision on Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway, 1 Killed

Pacoima, CA (July 24, 2023) – On Saturday, July 22, 2023, early in the morning, the California Highway Patrol received a report of a fatal multi-vehicle accident in Pacoima.

The incident occurred at approximately 2:48 a.m. on the Ronald Reagan (118) Freeway at the Golden State (5) Freeway.

A sports car and a pickup truck were involved in a collision on the freeway’s eastbound lanes.

Firefighters freed a man trapped in the vehicle, but he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash has yet to be determined as the investigation continues.
