Pacoima, CA (July 24, 2023) – An eastbound 118 Freeway crash at the Golden State (5) Freeway in Pacoima killed a man on Sunday, July 23, 2023.
California Highway Patrol Officer Elizabeth Kravig reported that the collision occurred at 2:48 a.m.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Firefighters used hydraulic tools to free him before confirming his death.
The investigation into the cause of the tragic crash is still ongoing.
