Painesville, OH (September 13, 2023) – A 20-year-old man from Painesville Township lost his life in a high-speed accident on Monday, September 11, 2023.
The crash occurred near noon on Brookstone Road, as reported by the Painesville Police Department on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
Investigators found the man was driving rapidly, losing control on a curve.
His car left the road, broke a telephone pole, and rolled into woods and a ravine.
The driver, whose identity remains undisclosed, succumbed to his injuries on-site.
He had his seatbelt on.
Reconstruction experts assisted at the crash site.
The investigation is still ongoing.
