Palm Coast, FL (September 13, 2023) – A 39-year-old Palm Coast man lost his life on Monday, September 11, 2023, after being hit by a car on Belle Terre Parkway near Palm Coast Parkway.

Around 7:40 p.m., a 27-year-old Palm Coast woman drove north on Belle Terre Parkway. She struck the man who stood in the right outside travel lane.

Emergency responders rushed the man to AdventHealth North Palm Coast, where he died.

Florida Highway Patrol highlighted that the man was not in a marked crosswalk during the incident.

The female driver remained unharmed.

The investigation is still ongoing.
