Panola County, TX (September 13, 2023) – A startling accident occurred on Monday, September 11, 2023, on Loop 436.
An 18-wheeler reportedly rear-ended a truck, forcing it into a train at a crossing.
Authorities arrived quickly, including a trooper, deputy, and UT Health EMS. A wrecking crew also came to clear the blocked crossing.
Two victims were transported to a nearby emergency room with injuries.
The investigation is still ongoing.
