Paradise, CA (September 14, 2023) – A tragic accident occurred on Sunday, September 10, 2023, on Skyway when James Brandon Slack, 47, swerved into the oncoming lane.

He crashed head-on into a car containing an 83-year-old woman.

Both individuals were rushed to the hospital for their injuries.

Regrettably, the elderly woman did not pull through.

The victim’s identity remains undisclosed.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Slack had consumed alcohol before the crash.

The investigation is still ongoing.
