Paradise, CA (September 13, 2023) – A tragic head-on crash occurred on Skyway in Paradise on Sunday, September 10, 2023.
James Brandon Slack, 47, drove east on Skyway.
He veered into the opposite lane, crashing into another car.
An 83-year-old woman traveled in the second car.
Both drivers were rushed to the hospital for injuries.
Regrettably, the elderly woman didn’t survive.
Her identity remains undisclosed.
Evidence suggests Slack consumed alcohol before the crash.
The investigation is still ongoing.
