Pasco County, FL (July 17, 2023)- A Dade City man lost control of his truck early Saturday morning, July 15, 2023, on County Road 578 in Pasco County, causing a horrific head-on collision.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the incident reportedly happened at 2:50 a.m., west of Robert Barns Road.
The 63-year-old driver was headed west when his truck crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with another vehicle.
The Dade City man’s truck flipped, and the other vehicle stopped on the shoulder.
The Dade City man tragically passed away at the scene of the collision.
The driver, 20, and two passengers in the other truck were lightly hurt.
The cause of the crash is being investigated at the moment.
