Patterson, CA (July 26, 2023) – According to authorities, Noah Beery, 26, from Oro Valley, AZ, died in a big rig crash near Patterson on Tuesday, July 25, 2023.
The accident occurred just after noon on Interstate 5, south of Davis Road.
The CHP reported that Beery was driving a Subaru southbound on I-5 when he veered into the center median and overturned onto the northbound side.
Subsequently, a northbound Peterbilt tractor-trailer collided with the Subaru.
Noah Beery died at the collision scene, while the tractor’s driver, a 50-year-old Los Banos man, was taken to a Modesto hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is ongoing, but alcohol and drugs were not suspected as contributing factors to the crash.
