Pembroke Pines, FL (February 11, 2024) – A tragic crash on Interstate 75 resulted in the death of a 28-year-old motorcyclist from Plantation early Saturday morning, Florida Highway Patrol reported. The incident, involving three vehicles, occurred just south of Pines Boulevard in the northbound lanes.
The motorcyclist collided with a vehicle’s bumper due to a speed difference, causing his 1997 black Harley Davidson to overturn. A 2023 black Chevrolet Suburban Sport managed to stop on the highway’s outside shoulder, while a second car halted on the inside shoulder.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no other injuries. The crash led to partial closures on I-75 for investigation and cleanup. The investigation is still ongoing, with efforts to notify the motorcyclist’s next of kin.
