Penbrook, PA (March 18, 2025) – A woman was injured Monday evening following a multi-vehicle crash that also involved a pedestrian near Zimmerman’s Nuts and Candies in Penbrook.
According to police, the accident occurred around 5:20 p.m. when a vehicle traveling south on 27th St collided with another vehicle heading west on Elm St. The impact caused one of the vehicles to strike a pedestrian, a building, and a parked car.
Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene and transported the injured pedestrian to a nearby hospital for treatment. Fortunately, the woman was later released, and no additional injuries were reported in the incident.
Authorities confirmed that two vehicles had to be towed from the scene due to the extent of the damage. The cause of the crash remains under investigation as officials work to determine whether factors such as speeding, driver error, or roadway conditions contributed to the collision.
