Perinton, NY (October 25, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Thursday, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist. The incident took place on Turk Hill Road, where 48-year-old Justin Moore from Fairport was involved in a collision with a car.
According to Monroe County sheriff's deputies, Moore was traveling south on Turk Hill Road when he crossed into the northbound lane, striking a vehicle. Emergency responders arrived quickly at the scene and transported him to the hospital; unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.
In the aftermath of the accident, Turk Hill Road was temporarily closed between Garnsey Road and Steele Road to facilitate the investigation and ensure the safety of all involved. The road has since reopened to traffic.
