Philadelphia, PA – Stolen SUV Hits Police Car, Officers Injured in Logan Section

Philadelphia, PA (November 19, 2023) – On Friday, November 17, two men were arrested after crashing a stolen SUV into a Philadelphia police vehicle in the city’s Logan section. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Broad St near Ruscomb. The Hyundai Santa Fe, reported stolen months earlier in North Philadelphia, was spotted by police officers. Despite attempts to stop it, the driver fled, leading to the crash. Two officers were transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center. The Northwest Detectives Division is investigating the event.
